Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by erythematous and scaly lesions due to accelerated cell turnover. Gene expression analysis helps to better understand the immunopathological mechanisms of psoriasis, identify biomarkers for diagnosis and monitoring, and personalize therapeutic strategies.
Genes Analyzed in Psoriasis
Our panel targets key biomarkers associated with skin inflammation, immune cell activation, and cell proliferation, including:
TNF-α (Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha) – Key cytokine mediating inflammation and psoriatic plaque formation
IL-17A, IL-23 – Cytokines involved in immune response and psoriasis pathogenesis, particularly in plaque psoriasis
IL-6 – Pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in keratinocyte activation and the spread of skin inflammation
