FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before starting a project. Don't see yours, write to us directly.

What sample types do you work with?

Blood, tissue, cells, FFPE, saliva, plasma, stool, bacteria and skin explants, among others: sample preparation and extraction are optimized by sample type. Tell us what you have and we'll confirm feasibility.

Is there a minimum sample size or project size?

No fixed minimum: every project is scoped individually, from a single pilot study to a multi-year research partnership. Tell us your sample volume and biological question and we'll confirm what's feasible.

Do you support single-cell as well as bulk sequencing?

Yes. Our Genomics & Multi-Omics platform covers both bulk and single-cell RNA-seq, alongside whole genome, whole exome and targeted sequencing.

How long does a typical project take?

Turnaround depends on the platform and sample volume, and is confirmed upfront during scoping. Across our track record, 95% of projects are delivered on the agreed schedule.

What do we receive at the end of a project?

A documented, decision-ready report: QC metrics, figures, statistical results and biological interpretation, plus raw and processed data. Interactive dashboards are available on request rather than a static PDF only.

Can you run wet-lab and computational analysis separately?

Yes. OMICS4, powered by GenXMap, covers the wet-lab platforms (sample processing, molecular biology, genomics & multi-omics, imaging) independently. GenXMap's Computational Biology & AI team can also analyze data you've generated elsewhere.

Can you re-analyze data we've already generated elsewhere?

Yes. Our Computational Biology & AI team can take FASTQ files or other processed data you already have and run further analysis, quality control or multi-omics integration on it.

Do you work with academic labs as well as industry partners?

Yes, academic and hospital labs, biotech and pharma teams, and translational research groups. See Collaborative Research for how we adapt to each.

Do you accept samples from outside France?

Generally yes, tell us your sample type and country of origin and we'll confirm shipping logistics and any import requirements before you send anything.

Do we need to sign an NDA before getting a quote?

We're happy to sign a mutual confidentiality agreement before discussing project specifics, just ask when you write to us.

Is our data and IP kept confidential?

Yes. Projects are covered by mutual confidentiality agreements, and data handling follows enterprise-grade security practices throughout.

How do we get a quote or start a project?

Write to us with your sample type and biological question. We'll recommend the right platform(s) and provide a quote.
