About GenXMap
GenXMap was built around a simple observation: wet lab and computational biology are usually run as two separate worlds, handed off between providers who don't share context. We bring wet lab, multi-omics, bioinformatics and AI together in a single team, so every analytical decision is made with the full picture: not just the file that was handed over.
Our story
GenXMap was founded in 2020 in Marseille, out of a simple frustration: wet lab and computational biology were treated as two separate businesses, handed off between providers who never shared context. Part of our laboratories operate within IHU Méditerranée Infection, one of Europe's leading infectious disease research institutes: a base that keeps us close to a dense regional and European scientific ecosystem, from academic collaborators to translational research programs.
Built from day one around one integrated wet lab & dry lab team.
Headquarters and laboratories based in the Marseille scientific hub.
Part of our labs operate within this leading infectious disease research institute.
Recognized by the French government as a Jeune Entreprise Innovante, with R&D activities eligible for the Crédit d'Impôt Recherche.
Every project follows the same disciplined backbone (documented methods, versioned pipelines, reproducible thresholds) adapted to your biological question, whether that's a single pilot study or a multi-year research partnership.
Wet lab and dry lab under one roof: no hand-off gaps, no context lost between sequencing and interpretation.
Every report ships with exact tool versions, parameters and thresholds: built to be audited or reproduced.
Inference models prioritize signal in the data; scientists, not algorithms alone, validate what matters.
From internal research programs to strategic biotech & pharma partnerships, we scale with your roadmap.
Our team
Every project is run by scientists who hold the relevant domain expertise, not client managers relaying instructions to a black box. Our PhD-level team spans wet lab, bioinformatics and applied AI: assembled project by project around your specific biological question, with a dedicated project lead as your single point of contact from experimental design to final interpretation.
PhD-level expertise across sample prep, extraction, sequencing and molecular biology.
Reproducible pipelines and statistical analysis, versioned end to end.
Models built and validated on your data, not generic templates.
One PhD-level point of contact per project, from design to interpretation.
Our vision
We think the next decade of biological discovery won't be won by wet lab or computation alone, but by teams that treat them as a single discipline. GenXMap is built around that bet: every molecular technology we run, from a sequencing platform to an AI biomarker model, is designed to feed one coherent, cross-validated view of the sample, not a stack of disconnected deliverables.
GenXMap operates from Marseille, France, with headquarters and laboratory facilities dedicated to sample processing, sequencing and computational analysis.
